In the early afternoon of May 3, 2025 and surrounded by family, Dean Thomas Patterson was swept away from this earth into the glorious presence of his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Dean was born at home in Alexis, Il to Thomas and Justina (nee Davis) Patterson on January 30, 1933. He would later spend most of his adult life living and raising a family in the same home he was born in. He operated the farm adjacent to the home where he was born in Alexis, Il for most of his life. In addition, he also worked at Gambles in Monmouth, Il and after retirement enjoyed selling cars at Essig-Uftring, Aledo, Il. Dean had a strong faith in Jesus Christ as his Savior.
