Leffler pitches United to Win over Knoxville to Clinch at Least a Share of LTC West Division Title

Ian Leffler pitches 6.2 innings of 2-hit, one earned run baseball to give United at least a share of the LTC West Division crown in the first game of a double header at home against Knoxville on Saturday morning. Leffler garnered an amazing 18 strikeouts in the contest. It’s the fifth straight LTC title for the Red Storm. A win in game two of the double header on Saturday afternoon would give United its first outright championship since 2021. Chance Stewart, Elliott Copeland and Aiden Martin each get two hits for the Red Storm. United is (24-4) overall and extends their single-season record mark for victories. Knoxville falls to (2-22).
