The annual Eagle View Community Health System Fundraising Golf Tournament is set for Saturday, May 31st at Gibson Woods in Monmouth with an 8 am shotgun start. Marketing Director Sabrina Wilson informs proceeds from the event benefit their ‘Wee Care Program:’

“The proceeds for our golf tournament go to the ‘Wee Care Program,’ which is for children in our communities that come to Eagle View that may need extensive dental work. It could be their insurance might not pay for it because Medicaid doesn’t pay for a lot of that extensive dental work or they just don’t have the funds, because, let’s be honest, dental work is expensive. So, we will then refer them to a specific dentist and pay for that work to get done.”

Last year, with the $18,548 raised during the golf tournament, six local children received dental assistance through Eagle View Community Health System.
