Tyson Robert Stevens, 48, passed away unexpectantly on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, due to injuries from a car accident near Milan, Illinois.

Tyson was born on September 12, 1976, in Galesburg, the son of Robert L. and Sharon (Gould) Stevens. He graduated from Galesburg High School in 1996 and attended Lincoln College and later Illinois State University on a golf scholarship. He had a love for golf and was equally talented at the game, that he nearly qualified for the John Deere Classic.

Tyson also excelled with computers, turning that love into his business, Ambitious Streaming, which he owned and operated for over five years.

Tyson married Millie Pedigo in 2004 and from that union brought their son, Trevin.

Tyson is survived by his son, Trevin; his mother, Sharon (the late Pete) Weldon, both of Galesburg. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert L. Stevens on December 5, 1977.

Tyson’s wishes were to be cremated. No services are scheduled at this time. Memorials may be made to the family to establish a memorial fund at a later date.
