Carl Sandburg College is introducing a new program this fall called the Charge Forward program, designed to help students fast-track their future by focusing on just two classes at a time. Laura Nagel, Executive Director of Marketing and Public Relations at Carl Sandburg, shares more about this new program.
“It’s designed for both traditional students, but also for adult students, perhaps with families or who are in the workforce now and have a hard time adapting their schedule to come back to school. So this is a program that is two-year program to get your associate in arts degree, and you know for a fact that you will be on campus every Tuesday during that timeframe, so that you can coordinate your schedule around that. In addition to that, there are online courses that go with the program, and there are going to be different services that are going to be available on those Tuesday nights that are going to be open for the students to be there. So it’ll be a little bit more active at night at Sandburg.”
