The City of Monmouth has launched a way for residents to submit requests and stay updated on the progress, explains Public Works Director Brayden Bledsoe:
“It’s called SeeClickFix and once you get on there, you basically fill out a short form, you can put an address and attach a picture if you want to, and kind of describe the issue. That will get sent directly to my desk, the mayor’s desk, whatever applicable department it is, and then we will be able to either get that on our list of our work orders are going to be or if it is an urgent issue we can get to work on it. Of course, if you have a real urgent issue like a water main break or something and we don’t catch it, call dispatch or call City Hall. For the things that are maybe lower priority, but we still need to fix, this is a great app for that and allows us to communicate.”
Requests can be submitted right on the City of Monmouth’s website by clicking on the “Citizen Request” button on the home page or by downloading the SeeClickFix app.
