Mrs. Terry Lynn Cross, 66, of Galesburg, Illinois died 7:55 p.m. Saturday, July 26, 2025, at her home surrounded by her family.

She was born October 14, 1958, in Galesburg, the daughter of George H. and Barb A. (Leng) Reiber.  She married Larry D. Cross on July 27, 1986, in Galesburg.

Surviving is her husband of 39 years, Larry D. Cross of Galesburg, three brothers, Jim Reiber of Galesburg, Marty Reiber of Oneida, Illinois, and Gary Reiber of St. Cloud, Florida, a sister, Cindy (and Bruce) Quarterman of Galesburg, three nephews, Craig and Stephanie, Cody and Mallory, and Branden and Bailey, three nieces, Christy, Elyse and Byron, and Caitlin and Philly, and great nieces and nephews, Kohyn, Parker, Braxten, Graham, Elizabeth, Caden, Owen, Holden, Westley, and Beau.  She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Terry graduated from Galesburg High School in 1976.  She worked for the Galesburg Register Mail and later was a secretary for R&B Distributors in Galesburg for 15 years.  She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Galesburg when she was younger.  Terry was an artist, creating paintings and drawings.  She enjoyed watching painting shows, cooking shows, and Old Western movies.  She was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and a NASCAR fan, especially the number 12 car, Ryan Blaney. 

Cremation will be accorded.  A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Service Galesburg Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.  Online condolences may be shared at www.h-p-w.com
