The Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce has revamped their Annual Dinner into an Evening of Excellence. Executive Director Pam Gaither shares the theme and awards to be distributed:
“It is still geared around presenting awards of excellence to our businesses and local individuals in the community as well. We will have seven awards that we are giving out that night, which we are really excited about the Non-Profit Excellence, that is always a key area that is so vital in all of our communities. So, we will be highlighting Non-Profit Excellence, we will have Five Under 40, and then we have Chamber Advocate of the Year, that is a long-standing award that we like to showcase someone who is doing all the really awesome behind the scenes at the Chamber who is a volunteer. We will be out at the Stearman Hangar. It is a Tom Cruise movie theme, Mission Impossible.”
The Galesburg Chamber’s Evening of Excellence will be held Thursday, August 28th beginning at 5 pm. Tickets to the event can be purchased online at galesburg.org.
