The Regional Office of Education #33, under the leadership of Regional Superintendent Kathryn Jennings, is proud to announce it has received the official Notice of Award (NOA) from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services for the Head Start and Early Head Start grant. This grant will enable ROE #33 to serve children and families across Henderson, Knox, and Warren counties, expanding and strengthening our already established early childhood programs and support services throughout the region.
“We are honored to expand our role in providing high-quality early childhood education and care,” said Regional Superintendent Jennings. “With this new funding, we look forward to enhancing our Early Childhood programs and continuing to serve the needs of our communities with excellence and dedication.”
Effective August 1, 2025, ROE #33 has initiated the transition process, with full program operations scheduled to commence officially on October 1, 2025. During this period, ROE #33 is committed to ensuring a seamless transition with minimal disruption in Early Childhood services for children and families across the three counties.
