The United Red Storm trailed by two scores in the fourth quarter of their LincolnLand Small School Division match against the ROWVA/Williamsfield Cougars. The Red Storm’s Chance Stewart would hit paydirt from 2 yards out to cut the deficit to one score but could not get in the endzone again, as ROWVA/Williamsfield would hold on for a 20-12 win. Stewart rushed for 51 yards in the game to lead United. Koen Sperry caught a 24 yards touchdown pass from Kellen Boone for the Red Storm other score. Sperry would lead the Red Storm in receiving with 58 yards. Boone threw for 158 yards in the game. United will go on the road to Havana in week 2.
