The Galesburg Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce the recipients of its annual Evening of Excellence awards, which were presented at a ceremony on Thursday, August 28, 2025. The event, held at the Stearman Hangar at the Galesburg Regional Airport, celebrated outstanding achievements and innovation within the local business community.

This year’s award recipients are:

Nonprofit Excellence Award

Awarded to an organization that demonstrates innovation and growth, accomplishes unique milestones, and consistently contributes to the community.

  • The Orpheum Theatre

Five Under 40

This award celebrates five individuals who are 40 years old or younger and have shown exceptional leadership and dedication to making a difference in the community.

  • Jake Green, Graham Health System
  • Abby Colvin, Knox County Area Partnership
  • Walker Kelly, VNA Community Services
  • Christy Flynn, Midwest Bank
  • Katy Packingham, Caring Senior Service

Chamber Advocate of the Year

This award recognizes an individual who has shown exceptional dedication and active support in advancing the mission of the Chamber and the local business community.
