Inside Cornucopia Natural Market in Downtown Galesburg

Cornucopia Natural Market in downtown Galesburg has been around since 1989 and is a full-service natural grocery store with organic produce, local meat, and a full selection of everyday staples. They also have a café that specializes in Indian food, but they serve a variety of other options for all tastes. Cornucopia is also now available on DoorDash.

Hannah Lyon, Co-Owner, shares more about where they get their organic groceries.

“We have a couple distributors that we order from that are natural, specific distributors, so that’s where we get the majority of our items from. But then we also, because we always are trying to track down the perfect item for what our customers want at the best price, we hodgepodge who we’re getting various different things from. We have a local meat supplier. We have a local goat milk, which is off for the season right now. The Pilot Knob popcorn is a local product. We’ve got Wild Growth gourmet mushrooms. So we’re always trying to encourage as much local as we can, and working with those smaller vendors. We have a local honey provider.”

Cornucopia Natural Market is located at 176 S Seminary St in Galesburg. For more information, check them out on Facebook.
