Following more than 24 years of dedicated service to the City of Monmouth, Daniel Chard has retired from the Monmouth Fire Department, shares Fire Chief Casey Rexroat:
“Dan Chard, he decided to retire back in November. He had over 24 years on the department. Great firefighter. He cares about people, and he always wants to do the right thing, he was a really good firefighter. He retired as a Captain for us, and we are very happy for him. He has moved onto another chapter in his life.”
Additionally, Chief Rexroat offers the friendly reminder of making sure carbon monoxide detectors are placed within fifteen feet of each sleeping area in the residence.
