Nearly $700,000 was saved by Strom Center staff for area seniors during Medicare Open Enrollment for 2026 plans, informs Executive Director Carol McCrery:
“We have had the busiest December I think ever. First of all, our Medicare D program was a huge success. We had over 1,200 people that we assisted specifically on Medicare D and enrollments between Henderson and Warren Counties. This year, there was a cap put on if their medications were on the formulary, there was a cap of $2,000. We saved just under $700,000 for both Henderson and Warren County individuals.”
Medicare Open Enrollment closed December 7th. Those with questions can reach out to the staff at Strom Center by calling 309-734-5677.
