Monmouth-Roseville Boys Finish Regular Season Schedule at Macomb

Share

The Monmouth-Roseville Titan boys basketball team will end their regular season slate tonight with a trip to Macomb High School for a non-conference match up against their long-time rival Bombers. The Titans will be carrying a little momentum into tonight’s game, winning two of their last three contests. The run includes an impressive win over the TRAC West Division champion Sherrard Tigers last Friday and a win at Rockridge on Tuesday that saw Monmouth-Roseville win their first game at Rockridge since 2018. Earlier this season, the Titans broke an 11-game losing streak to the Rockets with a win at the friendly confines of the Shoebox at Monmouth-Roseville High School.

What might look like a meaningless non-conference regular season finale to most observers, is a pretty important matchup for the Titans, says head coach Chuck Grant.

Macomb is currently (20-9) overall and have won back-to-back regional titles the past two years, including a Super Sectional run in 2024. We’ll have tonight’s game on the PCSN on Sunny 97.7 WMOI and online at radiomonmouth.com. The varsity game is scheduled to start a little bit later than a normal Monmouth-Roseville tip-off. The JV game will start at 6:00, followed by the varsity game at around 7:30. Our WMOI pregame show will hit the air at around 7:00.
