At the recent Warren County Board meeting, a presentation on the County’s audit was provided. Buildings and Grounds Committee Chair Sean Cavanaugh breaks down the clean audit report:
“Every time the gentleman comes to speak about the audit, from Wipfli, he is always very complimentary on the numbers. If all funds cease to come in, we would be able to function for 230 days without having to bring in another dime. Don’t confuse that with Warren County just fledged with money, it is just that things are running smoothly. Typically, that number has actually been higher, but certain funds have been committed toward the jail and so forth. We are in just as good a spot as we have been the last several years.”
The next regularly scheduled Warren County Board meeting is Wednesday, April 15th at 5 pm.
