Monmouth College’s Department of Theatre will stage John Cariani’s romantic comedy ‘Almost, Maine’ November 15th through the 18th at the Fusion Theatre in downtown Monmouth. The production is directed by five students, Richard Eyre, Amanda Green, Terry Harris, Miles Rose, and Billy Savage. Professor Doug Rankin has more:
“It’s a really fun show. It’s about 11 scenes. They are somewhat related but they are not the same characters in them. They are little two person scenes about love and failing of relationships. Since they are all directed by different people they have a little bit of a different flavor but it really brought it all together for a cohesive performance,” states Rankin.
Due to some adult content, viewers are recommended to be 16 and older.
The production will be at 7:30 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday and on Sunday November 18th at 2pm.
Tickets are $8 for adults, $7 for seniors and students, and $6 for students and faculty with a Monmouth College ID. Tickets can be purchased online at department.monm.edu/theatre.
