January School Spotlight: United High School

Share

Our January School Spotlight is United High School led by Principal Amy Schmitz:

“We had such an enjoyable first semester. We are just seeing students come to school every day, making great choices, taking care of business, and making the most out of their high school career. We have such a strong faculty and staff at United and so many people that love our students and it’s not just a job to them it’s a lifestyle and it’s something they are very passionate about,” states Schmitz.

The teacher of the month is Joel Zink:

“I chose this gentlemen, Joel Zink, he is our business teacher. Not only because of what he does throughout the school day in his business classes, but also because of his participation in our afterschool B.O.O.S.T. program. Mr. Zink spends a lot of hours working with students, tutoring students, so that students always know they can come up and get help if they are struggling with courses. He is a wonderful human being and an excellent teacher,” Schmitz shares.

Congratulations to our teacher of the month Joel Zink and our school spotlight United High School courtesy of MTC Communications, the Regional Office of Education, and Lackey Monuments.
