The Buchanan Center for the Arts will be hosting their Taste of the Arts this coming Saturday, November 9th in the BCA Gallery. Executive Director Kristyne Gilbert shares the importance of hosting this yearly event:

“We host this dinner and auction each year to raise money for our community arts partners. The Buchanan Center writes for grants and when we receive those grants, our commitment is to match those dollars and so we do that through this fundraiser,” Gilbert states.

Anyone with any interest in attending or finding out more can stop by the BCA Gallery.

On Wednesday, November 13th, the Buchanan Center for the Arts will host their Old Friends Talk Art in the BCA Gallery. Gilbert shares they will be celebrating Grace Buchanan’s 125th birthday:

“We are celebrating that birthday with the Buchanan Community Chorus, who is also celebrating 30 years this year. And so, if you are available and you would like to hear some wonderful music, come and enjoy with some refreshments,” says Gilbert.

The event will begin at 10 am and is free and open to the public.
