Daily temperature checks and self-certification of each student attending in-person learning in the Monmouth-Roseville School District have become the new normal. Harding Primary Principal Kay Morrison explains that if any household member is sick or has been tested for COVID-19, that student is to remain at home:
“If anyone in the household has COVID-19 symptoms or is sick, as well as, if anyone has been tested for COVID, students cannot come to school even if they are not exhibiting any symptoms at that time. They have to stay home until we have those test results. Just call your child’s office and report that somebody in the household is sick,” Morrison says.
Morrison states that twenty-five percent of students at Harding are fully remote learning. The Monmouth-Roseville school district is currently utilizing a hybrid in-person format with Wednesdays being fully remote learning days.
