Fatal Vehicle Crash in McDonough County

One man is dead as the result of a single motor vehicle crash in McDonough County. A preliminary investigation indicated that driver David Parsano, a 73 year old from Adair was traveling westbound in a 2004 Blue Mercury on US 136 at County Road 2350 East. Parsano crossed the eastbound lane and ran off the roadway to the left into the south side ditch and struck a utility pole. Parsano was pronounced deceased while passenger 70 year old Donald Parsano was transported to a local hospital with injuries.

Charges are pending awaiting investigation.

All subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
