Mary I. Klinkradt, 74, of Galesburg, died at 6:13 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2022, in OSF St. Mary Medical Center with family at her side.

She was born January 24, 1948, in Galesburg, the daughter of Russell Glenn and Eula V. (Clark) Bushnell.  She married James H. Klinkradt on October 19, 2009, in Peoria.  He preceded her in death on January 3, 2014.

She is survived by three daughters, Amanda (Ron) Finley of London Mills, Melissa (Eric) Lieber of Galesburg, and Jessica (Missi) Wheeler of Galesburg; four grandchildren, Brianna Yoder, Ryan Yoder, Nicky Steines, and Logan Finley; great grandchildren; step-daughter, Brooke (Vance) Wise of the state of Tennesseee; two brothers, Gary (Cheryl) Bushnell of Springfield and Charles Bushnell of the state of Tennessee; and her beloved dog, Molly.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Jeffrey Trone; a grandson, Javier Regalado; and two brothers, Kenny Bushnell and Bobby Bushnell.

Mary was a supervisor at Avanti’s Restaurant in Peoria for 12 years before retiring.  She was raised and educated in Galesburg, where she graduated from Galesburg High School in 1966.  She lived in Galesburg for many years before moving to Peoria in 1986.  She returned to Galesburg in 2015.

Mary was a die-hard St. Louis Cardinals fan, an avid gardener, and pet lover.  She enjoyed watching T.V., especially classic game shows and Perry Mason.

Cremation will be accorded.  The family will host a celebration of life on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Lieber’s Boxcar Express.  Memorials contributions in Mary’s name may be made to the Knox County Humane Society.  Hinchliff-Pearson-West Funeral Directors and Cremation Services of Galesburg is honored to serve the family.  Online condolences may be made on the funeral home’s website at www.h-p-w.com.
