The Warren County Crimestoppers P3 Tips program is up and running, which receives anonymous crime tips from the community in an online platform, shares Law Enforcement Coordinator Josh Kramer:
“With this P3 program, it is a web-based program so you can either, first off make a tip off the web, you can text a code and it will give you the link to make the tip, and then once you make the tip, you get a code and a password and you can actual follow the investigation along with your tip. You can see that it is active, it is being investigated, and then if there is a payout, you will get a message saying that an award has been made. If somebody calls in a tip, that is all that I have, so when it gets to my desk, I just have whatever the tipster called in and said. At this point, I can log in and actually correspond with the tipster. If there are some more questions or more details that I need, I can just send them a message and as long as they are following that tip, they will be able to get it back and correspond with the investigator.”
Tips through the P3 program can also be done directly online at p3tips.com or by downloading the free mobile app. The Warren County Crimestoppers phone number, 309-734-9363, is also active to collect tips from the local community.
