Slam Poetry at the BCA

The 21st century Community Learning Center Titans program presents an evening of live poetry at the Buchanan Center for the Arts. All are welcome. Those interested in performing can email: beaton@mr238.org or arrive early at the door.

Bi-County YOCO Trivia Night

Doors open at 6 pm. Trivia begins at 7 pm at United High School, 1905 100th Street, Monmouth. There will be concessions, bake sale, and 50/50. $40 per team, 8 people max. Drug and alcohol free. All proceeds will benefit the Jamieson Community Center.

Preservation Training Workshop at Sugar Tree Grove Cemetary

Nicholas Weist Memorial Event

All are invited to a memorial event for Knox County Deputy Nicholas Weist at The Vault in Galesburg. A four pack of beer will be on sale for $16 dedicated to Deputy Weist. All proceeds will benefit the Spoon River F.O.P. Lodge 427 Nicholas Weist Scholarship Fund.

24th Annual Stearman Foundation Golf Outing

Golf outing will be held at Lake Bracken Golf Course. $85 per person or $340 per team of 4. Entry fee includes green fees, cart, and dinner. 1 pm shotgun start.

Warren County YMCA Adult 5-Man Summer Basketball League

The Good Gang Group meets every Thursday from 2:15pm to 3:15pm. This group is open to anyone who has a disability and is held at the Strom Center in Monmouth, Il. The Good Gang group is very active in the community by volunteering at many places to assist others.

Dog Obedience Orientation/Trainings

At the Warren Farm Bureau Auditorium. Please brings your dogs updated rabies vaccine paperwork to orientation on May 5th at 5:30 pm. Trainings will be held May 12 and 26, June 5, 12, and 26 in Henderson and May 19, June 5 and 21 in Warren.

City of Monmouth Shred Day

Shred Day will be held at Citizens Lake in the parking lot of the old Municipal Pool. Event is sponsored by the City of Monmouth and provided by Confidential Security Corporation.

Henderson County Historical Society Work Day
