Here’s your local high school Athletes of the Week for the week ending Nov. 28th, 2017:
 
Your West Central Heat Athlete of the Week is junior boys basketball player, Bradon Annegars. Bradon led the Heat in scoring in the ROWVA/Williamsfield Invitational in Williamsfield. He averaged 15 and a half points for the five games, including a 28 point night against Henry-Senachwine.
 
Your A-Town Tornado Athlete of the Week is senior boys basketball player, Calen Mahr. Calen helped lead the Tornadoes to a runnerup finish in the Ridgewood Thanksgiving Tournament, both offensively and on the glass. He averaged nearly a double-double of 9 points and 8 rebounds in his team’s 3 games.
 
Your Galesburg Silver Streak Athlete of the Week is senior boys basketball player, Jacob Carl. Jacob was placed on the all-tournament team in the Galesburg Thanksgiving Tournament last week. He averaged 12 and a half points and nearly 10 rebounds a game as the Streaks finished as co-champs of the tourney.
 
Your Monmouth-Roseville Titan Athlete of the Week is senior basketball player, Nick Kelley. Nick was named to all-tournament team at the Orion Tip-Off Classic for his performance on the court last week. He led the Titans in scoring for the four games, averaging 17.5 points for the tournament.
 
Your United Red Storm Athlete of the Week is junior boys basketball player, Adam Johnson. Adam led the Red Storm in scoring in each of the five games that his team played last week in the ROWVA/Williamsfield Invitational. He got his season off to a great start, averaging over 15 and a half points per contest in the tournament.
