"Summer Nights" Quilt Show

Share

The Piecemakers Quilt Guild is celebrating 20 years with a “Summer Nights” quilt show. The show will be at the Knoxville High School, 600 East Main Street Knoxville, IL, Saturday August 4th 10am to 4pm and Sunday August 5th 11am to 4pm. Diane Fedorow, co-chair of the show, shares details about what to expect at the show:

“We have the Hoffman Fabric International Trunk Show. This is a traveling show that goes all over the country, so we are fortunate to have it displayed at our show. We also have some of our members doing hand quilting demonstrations and you can try your hand at quilting. There is a slide show that will run in the commons of the first 20 years of the guild showing some of our events, retreats, members, and much more. We have 300 quilts on display from our members. This is a judged quilt show and 106 will be judged and awarded ribbons,” Fedorow states.

20 vendors will also be present selling merchandise any quilter would dream of.

Chances to win some prizes will also be available. A quilt and 10 baskets will be raffled off, with the drawing taking place on Sunday at 3pm.

There will be a dessert bar and Big Catz Barbeque will be catering the event both days from 11 to 2.

For more information about the event search Piecemakers Quilting Guild or contact Diane Fedorow at 309-335-7839.
