The following preliminary information is being released by ISP D14

WHAT: Warrant arrest of a suspect for Reckless Homicide, Aggravated Driving under the
Influence of Alcohol, and Failure to Report an Accident Involving Personal Injury or Death.
Three additional suspects were arrested based on warrants for Obstruction of Justice.

WHERE: The original fatal crash occurred on 23rd Avenue at Wingate Drive in Warren County.

WHEN: The original fatal crash occurred during the early morning hours of May 5, 2019.
Officers served the arrest warrants on May 9, 2019.

WHO: Sloan, Craig A., 32 years of age, from Avon, Illinois
Jones, Clinton L., 33 years of age, from Bushnell, Illinois
Ford, Kristyn Susan Marie, 23 years of age, from Avon, Illinois
Duckwiler, Santana M., 25 years of age, from Bushnell, Illinois

INFORMATION: During the early morning hours of May 5, 2019, Illinois State Police Officers
responded to and investigated a fatal crash on 23rd Avenue and Wingate Drive in Warren
County (near Little Swan Lake). On May 9, the Warren County State’s Attorney’s Office
obtained an arrest warrant for Sloan for Reckless Homicide, Aggravated Driving under the
Influence of Alcohol, and Failure to Report an Accident Involving Personal Injury or Death. The
State’s Attorney’s Office also obtained arrest warrants for Jones, Ford, and Duckwiler for
Obstruction of Justice. On May 9, District 14 Troopers served the arrest warrants and arrested
all four suspects.
