Mary H. Foust, 59, of Kirkwood, IL, passed away at 5:28 am, Sunday, June 2, 2019 at the OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice House in Peoria, IL, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 16, 1959 at Monmouth Hospital in Monmouth, IL, the daughter of Danny Fredrick and Barbara Mae (Tubbs) Foust.  Mary was raised and educated in Monmouth and graduated from Monmouth High School. 

Mary worked for many years as a server at Perkins in Galesburg.  She was affectionately known as Mom by her kids, Mary Moo by her fiancée, Marty, Mary Helen by family and Bad Mary by her Florida family. Mary was an avid reader, a love which she passed down to her daughter and a huge Florida Gators fan, a passion she shares with her son. Mary loved to make homemade cards to send to her family and friends for all occasions.  She loved life and helping those around her. She was selfless, kind and humorous.

Mary will lovingly be remembered by her wonderful fiancée, Marty Holford of Kirkwood, IL; her loved children, Danielle Morrison (Lance) of Monmouth, IL and Joshua Foust (Shayna) of Melrose, Florida. She will also be remembered by her kind brother, Joe Foust of Chicago, IL, her family, many cousins: The Robbins of Monmouth, IL, The Fernalds of Monmouth, IL and The Deans of Monmouth, IL, best friend Janet Bellamy (Gerry) of Reddick, Florida, her second family The Coopers in Gainesville, Florida and many wonderful friends.

Mary is preceded in death by her parents, Danny Fredrick Foust and Barbara Mae Foust; brother, Billy Harry Foust, many wonderful aunts, Mary Laura Tubbs Olson and Ruth E. Robbins Tee, precious Florida friends and her “son” Zack Talley.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Friday, June 7, 2019 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth.  Visitation will be prior to the service from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.  Cremation rites will be accorded following the service.  Memorials can be made to the Mary Foust Memorial Fund.  For more information or to leave an online condolence please visit, www.mcguireanddaviesfuneralhome.com.
