Biggsville Man Found Guilty on Four Counts of Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault

Rachel B. Mast, Henderson County State’s Attorney, announces that on May 13, 2024, Kambra D. Ware, 42 of Biggsville, Illinois was found guilty after a bench trial before the Honorable Chief Judge Raymond A. Cavanaugh of the following offenses:


▪ Count 1: Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, Class X Felony
▪ Count 2: Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, Class X Felony
▪ Count 3: Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, Class X Felony
▪ Count 4: Aggravated Criminal Sexual Assault, Class X Felony


The case is set for sentencing hearing on July 10, 2024. The defendant faces a minimum 12 years and a maximum of 60 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. These offenses are not eligible for probation or conditional discharge. The defendant shall have a minimum 3 years to a maximum of the natural life of mandatory supervised release term (parole). The sentence shall be served at 85% percent truth in sentencing.


The trial witnesses included witnesses from the Illinois State Police Forensic Science Laboratory and OSF St. Francis Medical Center, Peoria, Illinois. Agencies participating in the investigation include Illinois State Police Zone 4, Henderson County Sheriff’s Office, and Macomb Police Department.
