Eloisa was born November 15, 1943 in Dr Arroyo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, the daughter of Camilo and Dominga (Ortega) Aguirre. Eloisa married Adrian Velazquez on February 17, 1967 in Mexico. He survives of Galesburg; as do her two daughters, Sandra (Spiro) Deligiannis and Laura Velazquez both of Galesburg; one son, Carlos (Lisa) Velazquez of Phoenix, AZ; one brother, Cirilo (Debbie) Aguirre of Port Huron, MI; and two sisters, Antonia Coronado-Aguirre and Aurora Estrada-Aguirre both in Matehuala, Mexico. While living in Mexico Eloisa worked as a nurse. After moving to the United States in 1973 she began working as a CNA. She spent many years working at Cottonwood in Galesburg and spending her last years working at Courtyard Estates in Monmouth, retiring in 2014. She was a longtime member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church. She enjoyed watching Mexican soap operas, reading, and working in her flower garden.

Family was most important to Eloisa, from cooking family dinners every Sunday to taking care of her grandchildren and making sure they were where they needed to be.
