On August 21st 2019 at approximately 9:00pm, the Warren County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of pedestrian versus vehicle crash on Route 135 approximately 1/4 mile North of 200th Ave, rural Monmouth, Warren County.

Person(s) unknown, operating what was believed to be a Ford truck (unknown style, unknown color), intentionally struck a pedestrian walking along the roadway. The vehicle then continued north bound.

The truck sustained damage to the passenger side and may have lost a mirror.

The pedestrian was transported to the hospital by emergency medical services and his condition is currently unknown.
