One Monmouth Resident Arrested

Henderson County Sheriff, Steven Haynes reports the arrest of Angel M. Logsdon, age 40 of Monmouth, IL, 7 months after being released from Jail.

On Monday, August 26th, 2019 Logsdon was arrested in Peoria County,IL on a Henderson County warrant for Violation of Probation, Concealment of Homicidal Death. Logsdon was involved in the homicidal death of Rex Mynatt Sr. of rural Carman, IL on October 6th, 2017. Logsdon originally pled guilty to felony charges of “Concealment of a Homicidal Death” in a negotiated plea and was sentenced to 2-years probation, $1,496 fines, fees and costs at a monthly payment of $30 a month, a probation fee of $25 a month, and to serve 914 days in the Henderson County jail with credit for 457 days already served. Logsdon was released from Jail on January 18th, 2019. Bond has been set on the warrant for $20,000, 10% to apply.

Parties are innocent, until proven guilty in court.
