New United School District Budget Passed

Share

United High School passed their fiscal year budget at last week’s school board meeting.

United Superintendent Jeff Whitsitt says the school is running a deficit, but that is because funding from last school year was not spent.

Whitsitt gives additional details as to why the school district is running a deficit.

“We show a deficit budget, but the deficit is only because of the life safety [bonds] and building projects we have ahead of us.”

The United School Board approved a tentative budget last month.
