Mark A. Holford, age 64, of Gladstone, Illinois, passed away at 3:48 PM
on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at his Gladstone residence. He was born on
September 27, 1955 in Monmouth, Illinois, the son of Donald Eugene and
Mildred Marie (Hull) Holford. Mark attended schools in Biggsville,
Kirkwood, and graduated from Union High School. He later attended
Bradley University.

On October 30, 2009, Mark married Vickie James in Oquawka, Illinois and
she is surviving. Mark was a farmer, working the family farm for many
years. He enjoyed cooking, hunting, fishing, mushrooming, canning, and
drinking a beer or two. Mark is survived by his wife Vickie at home, two
daughters; Jennifer (Danny) Lafary of Stronghurst, Illinois and Sarah
Schulte of Florida, and one son, Brandon Marsch of Burlington, Iowa.
Also surviving are two sisters; Carla (Russ) Gardner of Biggsville,
Illinois and Gail Howell of St. Louis, Missouri. Mark is preceded in
death by his parents and his daughter Brooke.

A graveside service is planned for 10:30 AM on Wednesday, November 20,
2019 at the Oquawka Cemetery. No visitation is planned. For more
