A possible Midwest Conference football championship could be at stake on AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM when Monmouth College (4-2, 2-0) meets the University of Chicago (4-2, 2-0) in a 1 p.m. kickoff in Chicago. Both teams were favored in the league’s preseason coaches’ poll for the South Division crown, the teams enter this week’s contest tied at (2-0) in division play with two regular season games left on the schedule. Both teams are riding a four-game win streaks. The pregame show starts at 12:40 on AM 1330/FM 94.1 WRAM with kickoff scheduled for 1:00.

In Class 1A, (9-0) Annawan/Wethersfield hosts (5-4) Lewistown at 1:00……(7-2) Princeville is also at home versus (6-3) Stockton at 2:00…….(6-3) Ridgewood is on the road at (9-0) Morrison and (6-3) Mercer County is at home against (6-3) Chicago (Christian) in Aledo at 3:00 in a class 2A match up. Another big Class 2A game features a pair of teams with some playoff history as (5-4) Orion goes to (8-1) Sterling Newman at 1:00.
