Carl Sandburg College’s Corporate & Leisure College will host a free seminar from 7:30-9 a.m. Dec. 13 on what employers need to know regarding Illinois’ new cannabis legalization.

The seminar will take place at the Sandburg Annex, 209 E. Main St., in Galesburg and will be led by Galesburg City Attorney Bradley Nolden and Capt. Rodney Riggs of the Galesburg Police Department.

Starting Jan. 1, the purchase of recreational cannabis for personal use will be legal in Illinois.
