Illinois Launching Summer Food Program

Illinois is launching a summer food program for low-income families with school-age kids. The Summer EBT program aims to provide essential support to economically disadvantaged children during the summer months. It will provide 120-dollars to low-income families with school-age kids for meals over the summer months. The program is the first of its kind to launch in Illinois in over 50 years.
