Larry L. Anglund, 64, of Galesburg, died at 2:42 p.m. Thursday, April 16, 2020 in the emergency room at Galesburg Cottage Hospital.

Larry was born April 13, 1956 in Galesburg, the son of Jack R. and Barbara Lee (Berry) Anglund.  Larry is survived by his mother, Barb Hawkins of Galesburg; and a step brother, Doug (Lina) Hawkins of Oquawka.  He was preceded in death by his father in 1973 and his step-father, Eugene Hawkins in 2010.

Larry worked as a fork truck driver at Maytag for over 30 years.  He was an avid collector of railroad models and ran the Railroad Days Model Railroad show for many years.  Larry also had a love for Ford Mustangs, owning several through the years.  He enjoyed many years bowling on a Maytag bowling team.  Larry was an avid Chicago Cubs and Green Bay Packers fan.  Larry obtained a large collection of C.D.’s through the years.  He loved dogs, especially his Yorkie.

Due to social distancing requirements surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, no visitation will be held, however, friends may pay respects from 2 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at Watson Thomas Funeral Home and Crematory.  No more than 10 people will be allowed in the building at a time.  The family will not be present.  Private funeral will be held.  Deacon Michael Crummer will officiate.  The funeral may be viewed at 11 a.m. Thursday, April 23, 2020 at the Watson Thomas Funeral Home Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/WatsonThomasFH.  Private burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery, Galesburg.  Memorials may be made to the Guardian Angels Humane Society.
