WB6 Releases Spring Scholastic All-Conference List

Despite not having a high school spring sports season due to the coronavirus pandemic, the Western Big Six Conference released its scholastic all-conference list. WB6 Conference Executive Director Robert Swanson said in a press release that “Even though spring sports were not played due to the Covid-19 pandemic, we are able to make these awards because the academic grade point used is determined after completion of the high school seventh semester. That semester was completed prior to the closing of schools and grades were certified. These seniors were on spring sport rosters and in the estimation of their coaches and athletic directors, would have earned a varsity letter had the season been played.”

There were 22 Galesburg High School student-athletes that made the all-conference list.
Baseball: Connor Aten, Zach Carlson, Nick Inness, Noah Matheny, Mitchel Sampson, Tyler Steck
Softball: Emily Blucker, Arleta Brown
Boys Tennis: Logan Holland, Christoper Pamatmat, Giarmando Parker
Boys Track: Nikolas Bastian, Ben Cermak, Justis Gatson, Paul Peronard, Gerard Remmes, David Vaynerman
Girls Track: Emma Hawkinson, Grace Palmer, Tegan Rehn, Tamara Sneddon, Emma St. George
