WHFB Foundation Scholarship Recipient Sydney Killey

Sydney Killey recently graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, majoring in Animal Sciences while minoring in Chemistry. At the U of I, Sydney was a James Scholar and involved in Pre-Veterinary Club, Four Paws of Ability, the Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority, as well as the Companion Animal Club. Sydney is graduating a year early from UIUC and will begin the Veterinary Technology Program at Parkland in the fall. Some of Sydney’s hobbies include raising and showing livestock, working at the Roseville Veterinary Service and Fairview Sale Barn, babysitting, baking, and fishing. Sydney’s future goal is to become a Veterinary Technician so she will be able to work with and on animals, a dream of hers. Sydney is the daughter of Kevin and DeNeene Killey of Berwick.
