W-H Farm Bureau Manager Gina Long Warns of Mysterious Seeds Sent in the Mail

Share

Alerts regarding the unsolicited packages of seeds, believed to be sent from China, have been issued by the Illinois Department of Agriculture. Warren-Henderson Farm Bureau Manager Gina Long, states what has been shared by the Illinois Farm Bureau:

“Email agr.seeds@illinois.gov. Email them your first and last name, phone number, and the number of packages received. If people do have those packages and want to call the office, I would be happy to work with them. I do not know much beyond that, but this is just what the official statement was from the Illinois Farm Bureau,” Long reports.

If these seeds are received, do not plant, open, or throw the seeds away.
