Pamela K. (Adams) Loomis, passed away on November 10, 2020 in her childhood home in Knoxville.
Pamela was born in Galesburg on May 29, 1960 to Alfred G. and Greta (Wunderlich) Adams, Sr. Pamela graduated from Knoxville High School class of 1978. Pam then graduated from Carl Sandburg College as an LPN.
After graduation Pam moved to Colorado to continue her LPN career. Living in Colorado was her dream; she was married and her son Bradley was born in Colorado. Returning to Galesburg Pam then worked at Seminary Manor completely falling in love with the residents there. Daughter Destini was born in Galesburg to Pam (and Curt Linderman). Pam was married to Greg Loomis.
Surviving Pam is a special friend, Dave Apell, her father, Alfred G. Adams, Sr, daughter, Destini of Hannibal, Mo., son Bradley of Columbus, Ohio, brother Al Adams (Tricia) of Knoxville, niece Emily, several aunts & uncles. She was preceded in death by her mother, Greta Adams, grandparents, aunts & uncles.
Pam watched NASCAR; Chase Elliott #9 was her favorite. She loved flowers in the house and in the yard. She was also a very good cook. She like to play cards with Gary Sands and Tim Kitterman. She also helped her Dad take care of her mother for four years. She was a very good nurse and good with kids. Her dad said “She could never be replaced”
Per Pam’s wishes, cremation Rites will be accorded. Private graveside service will be held at the Knoxville Cemetery. Memorials contributions may be left to the Knoxville Community Food Bank. On-line condolences or expressions of sympathy may be made through www.hurd-hendricksfuneralhome.com
