Students in Galesburg should have a nearly brand new school by this time next year. The city’s school board last night approved the second phase of their high school renovation. The total cost is supposed to be about 45-million-dollars by the time the work is done. Superintendent John Asplund says in addition to updating the school, Galesburg is adding classrooms so that 7th and 8th graders can also attend the new school.
