Warren County United Way Receives Grants to Provide Local Businesses with Electronic Translators

Share

Through grants from the Galesburg Community Foundation, Midwest Bank, and Federal Home Loan Bank in Chicago, the Warren County United Way has had the ability to purchase electronic translators for businesses and organizations in the community. Executive Director Jeannie Weber has more:

“Our United Way worked out a really great deal with a company in California. We were able to purchase a little over 100 translators initially that went to healthcare providers. They also scan forms and translate them. It is not just voice. For healthcare providers, it is really great, and banking institutions, it’s wonderful. They have been working so well, we wanted to be able to purchase more for small businesses in the community.”
