Albino Corral Ramirez, 74, of Monmouth, IL passed away at 8:10 am, Tuesday, January 19, 2021 at OSF St. Joseph Medical Center, Bloomington, IL.
Albino was born December 16, 1946 in Durango, Mexico, the son of Socorro Corral and Carmen Ramirez. He was raised and educated in Mexico.
Albino and his wife, Bertha Chaidez started their life of 56 years together on August 13, 1964; she survives.
Albino worked as a farmer for many years in Mexico. Most recently he for several years at Smithfield Foods in Monmouth, IL until his retirement. He enjoyed his time on the farm, he liked to take care of the animals. Albino managed several properties in area, he always took pride in taking care of his tenants. Most of all, Albino loved to spend time with his family and provide a wonderful life for them.
Surviving Albino is his wife, Bertha Chaidez De Corral of Monmouth, IL; nine children, Socorro (Noe Quinonez) Corral of Galesburg IL, Silvia (Ilario Duarte) Corral of Durango, Mexico, Esequiel (Yesenia) Corral of Durango, Mexico, Carmen (Alberto Cardenas) Corral of Texas, Manuel (Olivia) Corral of Galesburg, IL, Lucina (Arnoldo) Ayala of Texas, German (Maricela) Corral of Monmouth, IL, and Maria (Jose Favela) Corral of Monmouth, IL. Also surviving are thirty-six grandchildren and twenty-one great grandchildren. Also surviving is one sister, Alberta Sanchez of Chihuahua, Mexico; one brother, Tomas Corral of Aurora, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Valente Corral.
A private Mass of Christian Burial will be at Immaculate Conception Church, Monmouth, IL. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery, Monmouth, IL. Open visitation will be from 9:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., Friday, January 22, 2021 at McGuire & Davies Funeral Home and Crematory, Monmouth, IL. Memorials can be made to the Albino Corral Ramirez Memorial Fund. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, all attendees are required to wear a mask and social distance.
