WIU Soccer Moves Openers to Burlington

MACOMB, Ill. – The Western Illinois men’s and women’s soccer teams have moved their season openers and games on Feb. 12 and Feb. 14 to Burlington, Iowa at the FunCity Turf of the Greater Burlington Area Sports Facilities. 

The women will kick off the season at 3 p.m. against Denver on Friday (Feb. 12) with the men taking on Eastern Illinois at 6 p.m. The Western Illinois women’s soccer team will conclude the weekend against Denver on Sunday (Feb. 14) at 5 p.m. 

Due to COVID-19 protocols, fans are not be permitted at the games.
