IHSA modified calendar rolls on, but not without its challenges

After two weeks of being shutdown due to positive covid-19 cases within their programs, the United High School volleyball and Monmouth-Roseville High School boys soccer teams finally got back to playing games yesterday. Many of our listeing area teams have been befallen with either full or partial team issues at some point. As the IHSA modified sports calendar rolls on, there have been some challenges. Riverdale athletic director Guy Diericks says making the schedules work and dealing with COVID protocols have been among the issues he’s faced. But kids are still making the most of the situation……..
