Intersection of Broadway and 6th to be Closed in Monmouth for Sanitary Sewer Repair

Share

Public Notice

Starting Monday, April 19th, contractors will begin replacing a sizeable sanitary sewer in the vicinity of Broadway and 6th Street. The sewer has well exceeded its engineered service life and requires a complete replacement as it is facing imminent failure. Due to the fact that the sewer exists near structures, it will be rerouted to avoid any future growth issues. The project is estimated to take approximately 4 weeks to complete. The intersection of Broadway and 6th will be closed to traffic for approximately 7-10 days. During the time the crossing is closed, traffic detours will be in place to redirect vehicles traveling in that immediate area. The City Of Monmouth and working crews thank you for your patience during this repair.
