Henderson County Health Dept. To Begin COVID-19 Vaccinations in Residential Homes

Angela Myers, Henderson County Health Department Administrator, has announced that a program to provide vaccinations to people in their homes is now available at no charge for the vaccination or for transportation.  Henderson County Homebound residents who have not received their COVID-19 vaccination can telephone the Henderson County Health Dept. at 309-627-2812 to ask about services and to schedule their COVID-19 vaccination.  Transportation can be provided to get to the health department in Gladstone, Illinois or residents can be vaccinated in their homes.  The health department has two different brands of vaccine:  MODERNA (requiring  two vaccinations 28 days apart) and the JOHNSON AND JOHNSON (requiring 1 vaccination.)   The health department is committed to providing vaccinations at no cost to all Henderson County residents who want to do their part to help the USA reach herd immunity.
