Larry R. Nichols 79 of Marion IN, died June 2, 2021 at home.  He was born September 19, 1941 in Monmouth, Il the son of Lloyd Crigger and Hazel Leota (Moore) Nichols.  He married Doris V. Creek September 8, 1961 in Galesburg, Il.  She preceded him in death May 11, 2015.

He is survived by his children Brenda Sargent of Marion IN, Connie Seefeldt of Galesburg Il, William (Bobbie Jo) Nichols of Marion In, Robert (Melissa) Nichols of Indianapolis, IN.  12 grandchildren and 19 great Grandchildren.  He is also survived by the Sam Creek SR. Family.

He was preceded in death by his parents and wife.

Larry retired from Navistar formerly International Harvester.  He enjoyed his grandchildren and church.  He loved watching the birds and squirrels from his chair.  He was a loving father that taught his children to be good wholesome people as well as hard workers. 

Funeral will be held Tuesday June 8, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Wise Family Funeral Home in Alexis, Il.  Family will receive friends Monday evening from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Funeral Home.  Burial will be in the Alexis Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to the Larry Nichols Memorial.  Online condolences may be made at www.wisefamilyfuneralhome.com . Wise Family Funeral Home in Alexis, Il is in charge of arrangements.
